The Symantec OpsCenter 7.0: Analytics Administration and Troubleshooting course is designed for IT professionals tasked with advanced report generation and support of Opscenter Analytics. This training course covers the Symantec OpsCenter 7.0 data collection architecture, the Symantec OpsCenter 7.0 report generation architecture, and basic Symantec OpsCenter 7.0 troubleshooting techniques.
This course provides instruction on Symantec OpsCenter and Symantec OpsCenter Analytics. At the completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Describe how data collection works in Symantec OpsCenter
- Describe the process flow in the Symantec OpsCenter architecture
- Describe the Symantec OpsCenter report generation architecture
- Identify the methods for troubleshooting data collection issues
- Locate the TechNotes and documentation used for troubleshooting firewall issues
- Locate SQL queries in the OpsCenter Server logs
- Perform administrative tasks related to running custom SQL queries
This course is for customers, SEs/partner SEs, consultants/partner consultants, and support/partner support personnel who are responsible for:
- Analyzing and troubleshooting Symantec OpsCenter data collection
- Analyzing and troubleshooting Symantec OpsCenter report generation
- Performing Symantec OpsCenter troubleshooting tasks
Experience with Symantec OpsCenter administration is required. Experience with NetBackup administration is helpful, but not required.
